MEMBRANE ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY FOR SOLID ELECTROLYTE FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane electrode assembly that separates a hydrogen peroxide generation region from an electrode end and prevents degradation of an electrolyte membrane and the like effectively with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A membrane electrode assembly 10 has an anode electrode 20, and a cathode electrode 22, provided on two respective sides of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane 18. An outer peripheral end of the cathode electrode 22 projects outward beyond an outer peripheral end of the anode electrode 20. A resin frame member 24 is provided so as to surround an outer periphery of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane 18. In the membrane electrode assembly 10, an outer peripheral end 18c of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane 18 projects outward beyond the outer peripheral end of the cathode electrode 22, and is bended toward the anode electrode 20.
