Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the presence of halogenated ketones which are formed as by-products in use of a chlorohydrin obtained by chlorinating an aliphatic hydrocarbon polyhydroxylated in dehydrochlorination reaction, in which the halogenated ketones possibly have a boiling point close to the boiling point of an epoxide, and are probably difficult to separate by distillation operation.SOLUTION: The method for producing an epoxide, in which halogenated ketones are formed as by-products, includes at least one treatment designed to eliminate at least part of the halogenated ketones formed.
