Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory that is less likely to cause the degradation in toughness in a high-temperature range of, for example, above 1,000°C even when an organic binder is used as a binder.SOLUTION: The monolithic refractory comprises: a refractory powder comprising a coarse particle region where the particle diameter is 1 mm or larger and a fine particle region where the particle diameter is smaller than 1 mm; and the organic binder. A burned olivine is formulated in the fine particle region. The amount of organic binder used is 1 to 20 mass% in outer percentage based on 100 mass% of the refractory powder.
