Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle charging station (EVCS) (2).SOLUTION: An EVCS (2) includes: a charging outlet (14) configured to receive a chargeable device (16); a contactor (18) operably connected to the charging outlet (14) and electrically connected to an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) meter (20); and an EVCS controller (22) configured to receive a set of instructions from the AMI meter (20) about modifying the amount of power supplied to the charging outlet (14). The EVCS controller (22) may be configured to modify the amount of power supplied to the charging outlet (14) via the contactor (18) in response to receiving the set of instructions.
