CONTENT DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus with good user-friendliness and excellent in power saving that is switched into a power-saving mode when a user is not present.SOLUTION: A content display apparatus comprises a content input part receiving a content, a decoding part carrying out a decoding process of the content, a video output part outputting the content decoded by the decoding part, a sensor changing an output level according to a motion of a user, a user detection part comparing the output level of the sensor with a predetermined threshold to determine whether or not a user is present, and a storing part in which the threshold is recorded. The recording part has a plurality of thresholds recorded therein and the user detection part uses one threshold of the plurality of thresholds recorded.
