IMAGE SENSOR UNIT, AND PAPER SHEET RECOGNITION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor unit capable of performing visible light reading and infrared light reading by using a photoelectric conversion module having sensitivity in a visible light region, and a paper sheet recognition device therewith.SOLUTION: The image sensor unit 1a and 1b of the paper sheet recognition device irradiates a bank note S with light, receives reflection light reflected by the bank note S, and reads an image of the bank note S. The image sensor unit includes a light source 2 that radiates the infrared light to the bank note S, a wavelength conversion layer 15 that converts the reflection light from the bank note S into visible light, and the photoelectric conversion module 141 that receives the reflection light converted by the wavelength conversion layer 15 and converts it into an electric signal. The wavelength conversion layer 15 is provided between the bank note S and the photoelectric conversion module 141.
