PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for easily producing a spectacle lens having a coating film obtained by reducing the influences of liquid pool.SOLUTION: In a method for producing a spectacle lens having a coating film on the lens surface, flange parts 2 are provided in which inner peripheral surface ends are formed to be horizontal or upward to the horizontal plane over the entire perimeter of peripheral end parts of an applied surface onto which coating liquid is applied by a spin coat method, and the flange parts 2 become a starting point in which the coating liquid is blown off from the applied surface, thereby capable of reducing the width of liquid pool occurring at the peripheral end parts of the applied surface.
