Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery-powered device, a battery drive method, and a program capable of extending battery-driven operation time in consideration of a low device cost, a low calculation cost, and influence by temperature characteristics of a battery.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 11 of a sensor node 1 measures an ambient temperature of the sensor node 1 and transmits measurement data indicating the measurement result to a driving interval calculation unit 16. The driving interval calculation unit 16 calculates driving intervals of the temperature sensor 11, a humidity sensor 12, an illuminance sensor 13, and a pressure sensor 14 from the measurement data received from the temperature sensor 11 using a driving interval evaluation function stored in a storage unit 15. A drive unit 17 drives the temperature sensor 11, humidity sensor 12, illuminance sensor 13, and pressure sensor 14 at the driving intervals calculated by the driving interval calculation unit 16. A battery 18 supplies a drive power to each sensor. A transmission unit 19 transmits measurement data for the temperature sensor 11, humidity sensor 12, illuminance sensor 13, and pressure sensor 14 to the outside.
