Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a secondary battery having excellent adhesion to a positive electrode active material and good charge and discharge characteristics.SOLUTION: The positive electrode for a secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode current collector 100 composed of an aluminum alloy foil; and a positive electrode active material layer on a surface of the positive electrode current collector 100, which includes a positive electrode active material capable of occluding and releasing lithium. The positive electrode current collector 100 has reentrants and protrusions on the surface thereof. The surface of the positive electrode current collector 100 with the reentrants and protrusions has an average surface roughness Ra of 0.07-4.0 μm. The average distance between local peaks 06 of the reentrants and protrusions is 20-50 μm. The average circle-equivalent diameter of pits 04 forming the reentrants and protrusions is 4.0-600 μm. The density of the pits 04 falls between 300 /mand 5000 /minclusive.
