Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch which can simplify the structure of an operation mechanism for operating a movable electrode while reducing the cost.SOLUTION: An operation mechanism 3 which operates a movable electrode 204 by a drive shaft 301 being driven to rotate, a drive lever 302 having a rear end fixed to the drive shaft 301, and a link 305 having one end coupled with a front end of the drive lever 302 and the other end coupled with the movable electrode 204 is provided between a fixed electrode side unit 1 and a movable electrode side unit 2. The link 305 is formed of an insulation material and the drive lever 302 is formed of a metallic material. An insulation cap 310 is applied to the drive lever 302, and the length of the insulation cap 310 and the thickness at each part of the insulation cap 310 are set so as to obtain a required dielectric strength between the charged part of the fixed electrode side unit 1 and the drive lever 302.
