Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that enables reduction of contrast difference between images with different magnification with respect to an original image.SOLUTION: A control apparatus of this invention controls a display unit comprising: a liquid crystal panel; a plurality of division areas; and a back light that emits light at a light emission luminance determined by each light unit comprising at least one or more of the division areas. The control apparatus comprises control means that makes a size of a light unit larger in a case of displaying a second image obtained by magnifying a first image than in a case of displaying the first image, according to the magnification of the second image to the first image.
