Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the ill effects of heat and sounds on an operator in a small shovel, in particular.SOLUTION: A duct 36 is provided on the exhaust port side of an engine room 28 in the vertical direction, and a front end side portion 35a of an exhaust gas pipe 35 connected to a muffler 34 is inserted into the duct 36 for exhausting cooled air and exhaust gas mixed in the duct 36. In such construction, an exhaust port 33 is opened downward from the engine room 28 at the revolving center side of a revolving superstructure 22 where the revolving superstructure 22 in a transversely revolving condition deviates from the upper face of a crawler 24.
