SLIDING DOOR HAVING GRIP WITH FINGER PINCH PREVENTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door having an extremely simple structure which prevents finger pinch and widely opens an opening of a building.SOLUTION: A sliding door is provided with a grip 2 on the side of a door end. The grip 2 has a finger tip insertion recess 4 on the surface of the sliding door 1. The insertion recess 4 is divided into a closing part 4A for closing the sliding door 1 and an opening part 4B for opening the sliding door 1. The closing part 4A has a closing-side rising part 5 on the side of the door end of the sliding door 1 for finger tips to catch thereon for closing the sliding door 1. The opening part 4B has a finger tip passing-through space 8 on the side of the door end of the sliding door 1 for the finger tips placed in the insertion recess 4 to pass therethrough, and an opening-side rising part 6 on the opening side opposite to the side of the door end for finger tips to catch thereon for opening the sliding door 1. Finger tips are placed in the closing part 4A of the insertion recess 4 so as to catch on the closing-side rising part 5 arranged at the closing part 4A, for closing the sliding door 1. Finger tips are placed in the opening part 4B of the insertion recess 4 so as to catch on the opening-side rising part 6 arranged at the opening part 4B, for opening the sliding door 1.
