Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow efficient mounting/removal of a protection cover for hiding a connection portion of a hose while minimizing labor, care and time, and to remove the burden of separate storage.SOLUTION: In a crawler type work machine which has crawler type travel gears removably mounted on both right and left sides of a car body 21 and adapted to be disassembled therefrom when transported separately, a protection cover 32 is closably mounted on a crawler frame 24 with hinges 39 for hiding the connection portion of a hose 30 between a travel motor and a swivel joint from the outside. A cutout 40 is provided in the protection cover 32 so that the front end of a trans-lifter 35 being extended for lifting the car body 21 during assembly/disassembly is fitted into the cutout 40 to avoid the interference.
