Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a composite material having high molding accuracy at a high rate by preventing, in production of a composite material including a fiber-reinforced resin and a lightweight core adjacent thereto, inflow of the resin into pores on the surface of the lightweight core without increase in the weight of the composite material.SOLUTION: For producing a composite material including a lightweight core and a fiber-reinforced resin adjacent to at least part of the surface of the lightweight core, the following steps are performed: a step 100 of disposing, within a molding mold, a core provided with a portion having substantially the same shape as the portion adjacent to the fiber-reinforced resin of the lightweight core and a fibrous base material adjacently to the core; a step 110 of impregnating the fibrous base material with a resin material by pouring the resin material into the molding mold; a step 120 of hardening the resin material; a step 130 of releasing the hardened resin including the core and the fibrous base material from the molding mold; and a step 150 of integrating the hardened resin including the fibrous base material to the lightweight core.
