Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handover method between a mobile communication network and a wireless LAN, taking the throughput of the wireless LAN into consideration.SOLUTION: A radio communication device, connecting to a first communication network or a second communication network in a switched manner, and performs handover according to a predetermined criterion between the first communication network and the second communication network, includes: means for detecting the reception level of the first communication network; throughput calculation means in the first communication network; RSSI threshold management means for use to control handover from the second communication network to the first communication network; and control means for performing handover to the second communication network and for setting an RSSI threshold obtained by adding a reception level at that time to a predetermined value, if a throughput falls to a predetermined throughput threshold or lower during connection with the first communication network, and for performing handover from the second communication network to the first communication network, if the reception level of the first communication network, which is detected by the means for detecting the reception level exceeds the RSSI threshold, managed by the RSSI threshold management means, during connection with the second communication network.
