COATING MATERIAL FOR RECTANGULAR COPPER WIRE, COATED RECTANGULAR COPPER WIRE AND ELECTRICAL APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material for rectangular copper wire which can be made long while the minimizing deterioration of the characteristics when the rectangular copper wire is coated, and to provide a coated rectangular copper wire and an electrical apparatus in which the deterioration of the characteristics is minimized.SOLUTION: The coating material 10 for rectangular copper wire includes a base material 11 having a surface 11a and a rear surface 11b on the reverse side of the surface 11a, and a viscoelastic body layer 12 formed on the surface 11a of the base material 11. When the coating material is peeled at a peeling angle of 180° with a pulling speed of 300 mm/min, the adhesive strength of the viscoelastic body layer 12 for the rear surface 11b of the base material 11 is 0.05-10 N/20 mm. The coated rectangular copper wire includes the coating material 10 for rectangular copper wire, and a rectangular copper wire coated with the coating material 10. The electrical apparatus is manufactured using the coated rectangular copper wire.
