Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watch that can shorten the processing time of forcible hand position detection processing and also reduce the power consumption.SOLUTION: A radio wave correction watch 1 includes hands 10, clocking means 73, display time control means 75 of moving the hands in timing with clocked time, hand position detection means 14 of detecting the hands 10 being at reference positions, hand position detection control means 76 of controlling the hand position detection means 14 to perform the hand position detection processing, and an external operation member. The hand position detection control means 76 includes a forcible hand position detection control part. The forcible hand position detection control part includes a hand movement count calculation part which calculates the number of hand movements made to move the hands 10 to predicted reference positions, and a hand movement position detection processing part which moves the hands without placing the hand position detection means 14 in operation when the calculated number of hand movements is larger than a set value, and moves the hands and performs the hand position detection processing until the hands 10 are detected or until the number of hand movements reach 0 when the number of hand movements become equal to or less than the set value. |
