Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of rotatively driving a driven body with a high degree of accuracy, in the driving device of a type in which a rotational driving force from a motor is transmitted to the driven body via a planetary gear reduction gear.SOLUTION: A copying machine 500 in which, for a planetary gear reduction gear 30, a planetary gear mechanism of 2K-H type two-stage structure is utilized, with the rotational drive force of the motor 20 being outputted under deceleration from the output shaft 40 of the planetary gear reduction gear 30 for transmission to the drum shaft 50 of a photoreceptor drum 1, has the following configuration. The drum shaft 50 supports the photoreceptor drum 1, while the rotational drive force from the output shaft 40 is transmitted to the photoreceptor drum 1. Moreover, all of the center axes of a first sun gear 31, annulus gear 32, first carrier 34, second sun gear 36, second carrier 38, output shaft 40, drum shaft 50, and the drum 52 of the photoreceptor drum 1 are disposed on the same axis for supporting the first carrier 34 afloat. A first side plate and second side plate on which holes are provided for supporting both the ends of a carrier pin of the respective carriers, and a connection part that couples them are composed of one part.
