BUFFER PACKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a buffer packing device that protects a product against a drop impact without damaging the surface of the product and impairing the appearance of the product.SOLUTION: The buffer packing device 1 includes: an interior material 21 for supporting and fixing the product 31; and a packing box 10 for housing the interior material 21. The interior material 21 is a molded product that includes: a recess 26 for storing the product 31; a plurality of ribs 24 projected inside the recess 26 from a peripheral edge of the recess 26 and supporting a center of each side of the product 31 stored in the recess 26; a chamfered part 23 formed along a ridge 27 defined by a lower surface and a lateral surface of the packing box 10 so as to form a space 11 between the ridge 27 and the chamfered part; and a notch 22 formed by cutting out a part corresponding to a corner 28 located at a lower surface side of the packing box 10. The buffer packing device is configured so that the corner 28 enters the notch 22 when the packing box 10 is deformed.
