Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new microorganism which produces free long-chain saturated fatty acid without accompanied by genetic recombination.SOLUTION: The new bacillus belongs to Erysipelotrichaceae family which accumulates free long-chain saturated fatty acid in the cell, GK12 strain (FERMP-22123) lactis species genus Catenostreptococcus. The bacillus accumulates free linear saturated fatty acid with 14-20 even numbered carbon chain in the cell body by culturing in a medium including glucose under obligatory anaerobic condition. The bacillus is useful as a biodiesel producing strain increasing amount of fatty acid production by changing culturing condition such as culture at high temperature condition (45°C), and shifting carbon numbers composing the fatty acid to long chain side.
