BLOWER AND AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower or a diagonal flow blower and an air conditioner in which a load applied during rotation of an impeller is sustained, and the impeller can be stably supported, and which is reduced in restrictions for a shape of the impeller.SOLUTION: A blower 13 includes: an outer-rotor type motor 49 having a stator 43, a rotor 45, and a non-rotating shaft 80; a centrifugal or diagonal flow impeller 51 affixed to the rotor 45; and a bearing part 60 that supports the impeller 51 or the rotor 45 such that the impeller 51 is capable of rotation around the non-rotating shaft 80. The non-rotating shaft 80 has an outside shaft part 86 located farther outside than the stator 43 in the axial direction. The bearing part 60 is interposed between the outside shaft part 86 and the impeller 51 or the rotor 45. The center of gravity 51G of the impeller 51 is located within the range 60S of the bearing part 60.
