Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote solidification of molten metal in contact with a core and to prevent generation of a casting defect.SOLUTION: The collapsible core (salt core 10) with main composition of salt 13 is formed by adding metal particles 15 having a melting point higher than that of the salt 13 by 20-40 vol.%. The method for manufacturing the collapsible core (salt core 10) includes the steps of: melting a compound with the salt 13 as a main component; mixing the metal particles 15 having a melting point higher than that of the salt 13 so as to be 20-40 vol.% into the molten salt of the molten compound; and pouring the molten salt containing the metal particles 15 into a predetermined mold for casting and molding the collapsible core (salt core 10).
