X-RAY COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computed tomography apparatus which can reconstruct an image and moreover, achieves reduction in an amount of data transmission from a gantry to a console.SOLUTION: The gantry 10 includes an X-ray tube 13, an X-ray detector 15, a data collection circuit 21, and a transmission part 23. The X-ray tube 13 generates X-rays, and the X-ray detector 15 detects the X-rays generated from the X-ray tube 13. The data collection circuit 21 has an extraction part 215 which extracts output signals corresponding to the X-rays that are generated from the X-ray tube 13 and that a subject has transmitted, from output signals from the X-ray detector 15. The transmission part 23 transmits the extracted output signals to the console 30 through radio or a cable. The console 30 has a reception part 31 and a reconstruction part 37. The reception part 31 receives the output signals from the gantry 10, and the reconstruction part 37 reconstructs image data related to the subject by utilizing the output signals received by the reception part 31.
