PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of heat dissipation from a coil to wall parts of a case which can occur in the use of the case having inclined inner wall surfaces with superior mold releasability during die-casting molding.SOLUTION: A coil device comprises one or more rectangular coils housed inside a case. The case has a bottom part and a pair of opposed wall parts that stand from the bottom part. Inner wall surfaces of the pair of wall parts form such an angle that a distance between the inner wall surfaces increases as separating from the bottom part. Each of the rectangular coil includes a lower part disposed parallel to an inner bottom surface of the case, and a pair of side parts that stand by being folded from the lower part. At least one of side parts of the one or more rectangular coils which are opposed to the wall parts of the case is disposed parallel to the opposed inner wall surfaces of the wall parts.
