WATERPROOF CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a rubber plug.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector includes: a rubber plug 40; a connector housing 20 having first and second cavities 23 and 32, which communicate with an electric wire insertion hole 42, formed at both sides of the rubber plug 40 in an extending direction of the electric wire insertion hole 42; and a terminal fitting 60 to be inserted from the second cavity 32 into the first cavity 23 through the electric insertion hole 42. The terminal fitting 60 has first and second protruding portions 66 and 67 formed at an interval therebetween in the extending direction of the electric insertion hole 42, and a distance between projection ends of the first and second protruding portions 66 and 67 is formed longer than an extending length of the electric insertion hole 42. When the fitting terminal 60 is in the middle of being inserted into the electric insertion hole 42 and is disposed therein, at least one of the first and second protruding portions 66 and 67 is disposed so as to be abutted on an inner peripheral surface of either of the first cavity 23 or the second cavity 32.
