Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book reader and a page flipping control method thereof which have good visual effect and do not cause a ghost phenomenon when pages of an electronic book are flipped.SOLUTION: An electronic book reader 100 includes an input unit 10, a display unit 20, a storage unit 30 and a processing unit 40. The storage unit 30 stores at least one page flipping effect figure. The processing unit 40 includes a refreshing mode control module 402, an area setting module 403, and a display control module 404, and performs page flipping display control on the basis of the page flipping effect figure.
