Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting body for a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape formable of a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that can be cut with excellent hand-cuttability, is excellent in workability in cutting work, and is further excellent in strength in a longitudinal direction, and hence is not cut during rewinding (in use) of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, and is excellent in workability in rewinding.SOLUTION: The supporting body for the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape includes a polyolefin-based resin film whose at least one side of the surfaces has a concavity groove-shaped in width direction, and the bottom surface of the concavity is a curved surface having a curvature part R whose magnitude is 0.1-2, a maximum width of the concavity is 50-500 μm, and the number of the concavities is 200-2,000 pieces/m, wherein R=r/D, R: the curvature part, r: the curvature radius of the bottom surface of the concavity, and D: the depth of the concavity.
