Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer arrester with excellent mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A polymer arrester 10 in an embodiment comprises: a metal electrode 30 laminated on one end face of a non-linear resistor 20 and including plural different-diameter through holes 32 having screw parts 31 on their peripheries; and a metal electrode 40 laminated on the other end of the non-linear resistor 20, formed at a position corresponding to the different-diameter through holes 32 of the metal electrode 30, and plural different-diameter through holes 41. The polymer arrester comprises: fastening metal fittings 70 screwed with the screw parts 31 of the metal electrode 30 and having different-diameter through holes 72; insulation rods 50 formed into a circular truncated cone at both ends, stationary metal fittings 80 constituted in a two-division structure; surrounding ends 52 of the insulation rods 50, and housed in the different-diameter through holes of the fastening metal fittings 70; stationary metal fittings 90 constituted in a two-division structure, surrounding ends 53 of the insulation rods, and housed in the different-diameter through holes of the metal electrode 40; and an insulation skin 60 formed by molding the periphery.
