Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus capable of releasing a regulating function for preventing an erroneous operation and promptly executing a required function; and an input method of the portable electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: A control portion 17, in a regulation state, releases the regulation state to display a screen indicated in a display portion 11 before the regulation state, when contact detected by a detecting portion 12 is determined as first contact operation; and releases the regulation state to execute a predetermined function when the detected contact is determined as second contact operation.
