Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel in which the distortion of potential distribution is suppressed.SOLUTION: A touch panel comprises: a first electrode substrate including a first conductive film formed on a surface of a first substrate; a second electrode substrate including a second conductive film formed on a surface of a second substrate and confronted with the first conductive film; a pair of first electrodes which are formed in parallel with each other on the first conductive film and apply potentials to the first conductive film; a pair of second electrodes which are formed in parallel with each other on the first conductive film and disposed to form a rectangular ring shape together with the first electrodes and apply potentials to the first conductive film; a first resistor which is connected in parallel to the first electrodes and the resistance value at a terminal side of which becomes higher than that in a central portion in a length direction of the first electrodes; and a second resistor which is connected in parallel to the second electrodes and the resistance value at a terminal side of which becomes higher than that in a central portion in a length direction of the second electrodes.
