Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave analyzer and a method for analyzing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an electromagnetic wave analyzer capable of exactly performing electromagnetic wave analysis, especially, analysis to electromagnetic waves which progress in an optical element even while implementing the analysis at high speed and a method for analyzing the same. The electromagnetic wave analyzer includes: a structure formation simulation device which forms analytic structure concerning an analysis object; a hybrid optical simulation device in which the analytic structure is input from the structure formation simulation device to divide the analytic structure, which determines whether or not a metal substance or a magnetic substance is contained at the respective divided parts, and selectively applies a BPM (beam propagation method) or an FDTD (finite difference time domain) method to calculate time independent data and time dependent data concerning an electric field; and a storage device which stores the time independent data and the time dependent data output from the hybrid optical simulation device as compound electric field data.
