Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical articulated robot capable of reducing a time spent for the replacement of a drive motor, easily correcting a mechanical displacement, and performing an operation even in an area close to the robot itself.SOLUTION: The vertical articulated robot includes: a base; a swivel provided pivotally relative to the base; a first upper arm rotatably provided on the swivel base; a second upper arm pivotally provided on a tip of the first upper arm; a front arm rotatably provided on a tip of the second upper arm; and a wrist assembly mounted to a tip of the front arm. A motor for rotating the second upper arm is removably mounted to a lower portion of a frame of the second upper arm formed in an L shape. The first upper arm is formed in an inverted L shape, and is provided, at a tip thereof, with a reduction gear for rotating the second upper arm.
