PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device, a monitoring method, and a program which, when a monitoring target device gives a notification with high importance, can identify the notification and other notifications related to the notification to present them together.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 10 comprises: a determination unit 12 which determines whether a notification indicating a failure from a monitoring target device 30 corresponds to an emergency notification, and sets selection conditions for identifying notifications related to the notification when it is determined that the notification corresponds to the emergency notification; a selection unit 16 for identifying notifications corresponding to the selection conditions among notifications other than the emergency notification; and an emergency notification unit 17 for generating a special screen 22 for notifying the exterior of the emergency notification and the notifications identified by the selection unit 16 when the determination unit 12 determines that the notification corresponds to the emergency notification.
