Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding device capable of winding a web around a winding shaft beautifully even if a curling tendency is strong.SOLUTION: A vacuum box 40 fixes a web W to a new shaft 28 by causing a cutting device 34 to approach the new shaft 28. The web W is then cut by a running cutter 38. The new shaft 28 is caused to rotate in a direction opposite to the winding direction so that the vacuum box 40 moves while keeping suctioning the web W and the vacuum box 40 presses and fix the web W to the new shaft 28 through an adhesive tape 68.
