Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic shielding structure for a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, capable of smoothly expanding and contracting a plurality of frames with good operability, the frames each having a sheet-like electromagnetic shielding member attached thereto, without causing any trouble in image pickup using the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic shielding structure 200 has: a frame assembly 220 in which a plurality of gate-like frames 221 are disposed in arrangement in a horizontal direction so as to form continuous spaces in the inside and are stretchably coupled; sheet-like electromagnetic shielding members 250 which are attached to the frames 221 respectively, and each have flexibility and transparency; and a meandering preventing mechanism 260 which is attached to the frame assembly 220 and prevents the frame assembly 220 from meandering when the frame assembly 220 expands and contracts.
