RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE, INFORMATION TERMINAL, AND DEVICE COOPERATION SYSTEM OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device capable of improving usability by presenting a user with a piece of information which triggered a reservation made by the user of recording a program according to a piece of information for presenting the user after the reservation of the recording with the piece of information which triggered the reservation made by the user of recording the program.SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device comprises: a reservation information source management unit for associating a piece of information for presenting a user after a reservation of recording with a piece of information which triggered the reservation made by the user of recording a program with one or more of a piece of information for identifying uniquely a program to be recorded, a piece of information for identifying a device on which a program recording was reserved, and a state which shows whether a transmission of a reservation information source is being held or not, and storing them; a reservation information source control unit for processing information managed by the reservation information source management unit; and an output unit for outputting a piece of information which triggered the reservation made by the user of recording a program onto a monitor.
