PASSER MONITORING SYSTEM AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a passer monitoring system capable of improving efficiency of monitoring work of a monitoring person.SOLUTION: The passer monitoring system comprises: a monitoring camera 3 for photographing a passer 2 passing through an entrance 1; an image processing device 41 for acquiring passer information from an image photographed by the monitoring camera 3; a storing device 42 for storing the passer information; a person determining device 43 for determining whether or not the passer 2 has passed through the entrance 1 in the past on the basis of the passer information acquired by the image processing device 41 and passer information stored in the storing device 42 before the image processing device 41 acquires the passer information; a monitor 44 for displaying presence of a visitor; a speaker 45 for announcing the presence of the visitor; and a controlling device 46 for controlling reporting by the monitor 44 and the speaker 45. The controlling device 46 makes the monitor 44 and the speaker 45 give reports, when the person determining device 43 determines that the passer 2 has never passed through the entrance 1.
