PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, and a processing method, a program and a processor thereof capable of performing image display processing which gives a user a visually enjoyable impression.SOLUTION: A rate of a display area of an image is calculated against the whole display area of a display 141. An image is selected, which has not been displayed and has the highest priority among a plurality of images having an area smaller than the whole display area of the display 141. Then, when the rate of the display area of the image against the whole display area of the display 141 is less than a predetermined area rate, an image display device determines to display the selected image and displays the selected image on a prescribed position of the display 141. On the other hand, in accordance with a removal requirement input of either of target images displayed on a display screen, processing for removing the target image is performed and a superimposed area of another image with lower priority superimposed thereunder is displayed.
