LENS BARREL AND PROJECTION LENS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel and a projection lens capable of easily and effectively reducing influence of optical performance deterioration due to change in a direction of fitting clearance between a fixed cylinder and a cam ring, at a zoom end.SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a fixed cylinder 2; and a cam ring 3 fitted to the fixed cylinder 2 so as to be rotatable around an optical axis. The fixed cylinder 2 includes a first and second stopper pins 22 and 23 located at positions separated from each other by 180° in a circumferential direction. The cam ring 3 includes a first rotation regulation part 34 and a second rotation regulation part 35. The first rotation regulation part 34 abuts on the first stopper pin 22 when the cam ring 3 rotates in one direction, and the second rotation regulation part 35 abuts on the second stopper pin 23 when the cam ring 3 rotates in the other direction.
