Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens actuator used mainly for a camera, a mobile phone and the like, which can save power.SOLUTION: Magnets 48A-48D of a moving unit 31 is provided oppositely to both of a first coil 46A and second coils 52A-52D of the moving unit 31. A current is made to pass through the first coils 46A and 46B to move a carrier 45 in a vertical direction, and a current is made to pass through the second coils 52A-52D to move the moving unit 31 in a fore-and-aft direction and a lateral direction. The weight of the moving unit 31 is decreased, thereby obtaining a lens actuator 70 capable of saving power.
