STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAYING APPARATUS AND STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image displaying apparatus that can supply at the same time each of multiple users with a stereoscopic image suitable for him or her.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image displaying apparatus comprises displaying means that sequentially displays a plurality of images on a time division basis; synchronizing means that outputs a synchronizing signal in synchronism with displaying by the displaying means; covering means that receives the synchronizing signal from the synchronizing means, covers the right eye or the left eye in response to the synchronizing signal, and selectively causes the plurality of images to be transmitted to the right eye and the left eye; and inclination detecting means that detects the inclination of the covering means. The covering means selects a combination of images to be transmitted to the right and the left eye according to the inclination detected by the inclination detecting means.
