Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master link for a track chain.SOLUTION: The master link 22, 24 for a track chain assembly 10 is provided. The master link 22, 24 includes a body having first and second spaced apertures 110, 112 penetrating the body and extending therethrough. A gap extends radially outward from one of the first and second apertures 110, 112. At least one fastener is operatively engaged with the aperture that extends through the gap. As the fastener is secured, the width of the gap is reduced, thereby reducing the diameter of one of the first and second apertures 110, 112, and providing a clamping force.
