Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell offering high power generation efficiency and capable of storing electricity.SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell comprises a semiconductor layer containing a tungsten oxide powder having an average particle size of 548 nm or smaller and a dye, and the potential difference (B-A) is equal to or greater than 0.3 (eV), where A (eV) represents the energy potential of the conduction band of the tungsten oxide powder, and B (eV) represents the energy potential of the LUMO of the dye. The tungsten oxide powder is preferably composed of WO.
