Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium having a light transmission layer excellent in abrasion resistance and low warpage property even when a hard coat layer is not provided; and an active energy ray curable resin composition for an optical recording medium suitable for forming such a light transmission layer.SOLUTION: An active energy ray curable resin composition for an optical recording medium comprises a radical polymerizable compound and a photoinitiator. A cured product of the composition has a molecular weight between crosslinking points of 800 or less as calculated from the formula of Nielsen and has a storage elastic modulus within the range of 50 to 600 MPa at 25°C.
