Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control part integrated glow plug and a current-carrying control method thereof, that can control current-carrying in response to an individual difference of a resistance heating element, and can early raise the temperature to the target temperature, without causing an excessive temperature rise and a temperature rise shortage by a variation in source voltage.SOLUTION: A control part 2 includes: a first determining part OP204 for determining the necessity of switching of a temperature rise control current-carrying stroke and an excessive temperature rise restraining control current-carrying stroke by comparison with a resistance value Rof the resistance heating element 1 with a resistance value in the target temperature as a first resistance threshold value Rwhen supplying excessive electric power exceeding rated voltage to the resistance heating element 1; and a second determining part OP205 for determining the necessity of switching to stable control current-carrying from excessive temperature rise restraining control current-carrying by comparison with the resistance value Rof the resistance heating element 1 with the resistance value in the target temperature as a second resistance threshold value Rwhen impressing the rated voltage.
