Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine preventing a temperature of a catalyst from being higher than a predetermined value.SOLUTION: In this fuel injection control device for the internal combustion engine which includes an injection valve 118 injecting fuel and an exhaust purification catalyst 127 provided at an exhaust passage 125 and purifying exhaust gas and which increases a fuel injection amount in a high-load operation region, the fuel injection control device comprises: a catalyst temperature estimation means for estimating a catalyst temperature of the exhaust purification catalyst 127; an oxygen adsorption amount detection means for detecting an adsorption amount of the oxygen adsorbed by the exhaust purification catalyst 127; and a control means for increasing the fuel injection amount by controlling the injection valve 118 when the catalyst temperature estimated by the catalyst temperature estimation means is higher than a threshold temperature. The control means sets the threshold temperature in accordance with the adsorption amount of the oxygen detected by the oxygen adsorption amount detection means.
