Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition for a ballpoint pen, with which ink never leaks even left to stand, holding the pen tip downward, no scratchy script occurs at the beginning of writing, clear written line is obtained with little bleeding, and the temperature stability is good.SOLUTION: This aqueous ink composition for a ballpoint pen at least includes water, a colorant, a water-soluble organic solvent selected from glycol or glycol ether with higher boiling point than water, and a higher alcohol particle solid at room temperature and having 10-2,000 nm average particle diameter.
