Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce changes in output characteristics among light-emitting diodes due to aging by using a low-cost configuration.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a light source having first and second phosphor conversion component light sources. The first component light source includes: a first LED (51) which emits light with a first wavelength; and a first luminescence conversion material layer which converts the light with the first wavelength into light with a first output wavelength. The second component light source includes: a second LED (52) which emits light with a second wavelength; and a second luminescence conversion material layer which converts the light with the second wavelength into light with a second output wavelength different from the first output wavelength. The first LED (51) and the second LED (52) are made of the same material system, and are preferably made of wafers in the same batch on a production line. A controller (86) generates currents flowing respectively through the first and second LEDs (51 and 52), thereby producing generation light from a light source (50) which is recognized as a predetermined color.
