Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power management system in which electric power generation of photovoltaic power generation is utilized as much as possible and energy-saving effect can be expected.SOLUTION: An electric power management system comprises: photovoltaic power generating sections and standby power supplying sections; an electric power management section for managing electric power supplied from the photovoltaic power generating sections and the standby power supplying sections; and power load apparatuses connected thereto through the electric power management section. In the electric power management system, the photovoltaic power generating section comprises a dye-sensitized solar cell that has tungsten oxide powder with a mean particle diameter not greater than 548nm and an optical sensor. When an amount of light sensed by the optical sensor becomes not greater than a predetermined value, the electric power management section transmits one of a signal for supplying deficient current from standby power supplies and a signal for causing electronic apparatuses to be off or to be stand-by states.
